A's Lose Heartbreaker in Raymond, 8-7

RAYMOND, Minn. The Raymond Rockets scored two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, rallying to edge the Marshall A's 8-7 on Wednesday night.

Nate Dickhausen (3-2) went the distance for the A's, taking the loss.

Tyler Flattum continued his torrid start to the season with a two run homer in the first inning.

After the Rockets tied it up in the bottom of the first at 2-2, Jordon Kontz hit an RBI double to give the A's a 3-2 lead in the 2nd.

Raymond answered back to tie the game at 3-3 with a solo homerun in the third.

The A's appeared to break the game open in the fifth inning with four runs, all with two outs, taking a 7-3 lead. But the Rockets answered back with a three run homer in the bottom of the inning to tighten up the score once again.

The A's will travel to the new Irish Yard on Friday night to take on the Milroy Irish. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
