The Marshall A’s earned their fifth straight victory on Wednesday night (June 26) defeating the Pipestone A’s, 10-2, at Legion Field in a non-league game. Marshall is now 9-2 overall and returns to Corn Belt League play on Friday night hosting Raymond at Legion Field with first pitch at 7:30 p.m.
Karson Rowe earned the win in relief tossing 3 2/3 innings with five Ks and allows two runs. Jake Eben strong 2 1/3 shutout innings. Charlie Jacobson started and allowed one hit with three Ks in two innings. Mitchell Bouwman struck out side in the 9th to close out the win.
Chase Douglas made his first appearance of season and collected two hits and four stolen bases, while Dillon Loft walked twice and scored twice. Ashton Blomberg and Andrew Stelter had run-scoring base hits in a four run 6th inning. Logan Terfehr, Coby Brownlee and Andrew Cowden (2 run single) each added a base hit.
