Marshall opens Region 2C Tournament on July 26

The Marshall A’s, the No. 1 seed from the Corn Belt League, will open play in the 17-team Region 2C Tournament on Saturday, July 26, taking on No. 10 seed (Tomahawk East League) at 1:30 p.m. in Sleepy Eye. The double-elimination tournament takes place over three weekends in both Sleepy Eye and Springfield.

The top four teams remaining qualify for the Minnesota State Amateur Tournament hosted by Brownton, Hutchinson, Gaylord and Glencoe on Aug. 15-17, Aug. 22-24, Aug. 29-Sept. 1.

If the A’s win on July 26, they would play at 4:30 p.m. in Sleepy Eye on Sunday, July 26, versus either Springfield or Sleepy Eye. If the A’s lose, they would play Sunday at 11 a.m. in Sleepy Eye.

Adults (18+): $10 (multiple game day), $5 (single game day)
Kids (17 & Under): $1
